Mobile GPS Tracking Without Internet

mobile gps trackingMobile GPS tracking is great. But, what happens when your employees don’t have access to the internet? Are you supposed to just go without  GPS tracking data? Absolutely NOT.

That’s why MapME.net has launched a new SMS mobile GPS tracking feature.  The new feature will allow you to locate your employees via SMS – even when GPS satellites and internet are unavailable.

So, how does it work?

After you install the latest version of the MapME.net GPS app (available on Google Play) on the phone/tablet you need to locate, simply send a MapME.net SMS Command to receive the location and battery status of the phone. Click here for instructions on the available commands!

Note.
If you wish to receive locations silently (without requiring the user to accept your GPS location request each time), please send an SMS to the phone you’re tracking immediately after installation.  You will then be able to select “Always allow this number to view my GPS location”.  This will enable you to track the user silently.
